The Welsh Cabin

Our largest accommodation, this 3-story log cabin, is on a contiguous parcel of land at the Christmas Farm Inn, but requires a short drive up the hill in your car to reach it. A large, wrap-around front porch on the main floor will afford you excellent views of Mount Washington, as well as sightings of the ample wildlife that abounds on the property. Don’t be surprised to look out your window one morning and see a moose wander amongst the trees! As you come into one of the three entrances to the Welsh cabin, you will enter into a full working country kitchen and dining room, as well as a hugely spacious living room. Tall, sloping cathedral ceilings make the room feel even larger than it already is. A massive working stone firplace is the focal point in this room, which also contains sleeper sofas to accommodate a crowd. Also on the main floor is the Master bedroom, rustically furnished with country curtains and pine log furniture. A full bathroom is at the end of the hall. Up the stairs to the second floor is a mezzanine area, which overlooks the living room. The stone chimney, which rises to the roof, acts as a privacy screen for the beds, which are behind it. Off to the side is another completely separate bedroom, with two more beds. Several cots are in the closet to sleep even more! But this isn’t all … the basement floor, which is a walk out room to a nice patio below the deck, has an apartment all its own! This is rustic country living taken to its ultimate conclusion, on a big scale! Extended families and friends will find everything they need right here!
