Room 11: “Sleigh Bells”

This room is actually part of an addition to the Main Inn. Originally it was the oldest church in Jackson built in 1803. At some point in history it was jacked up on logs and rolled a short distance down the hill by oxen! This room has Amish Star quilts on each of the two Double beds and Hurricane lamps on the night stands. An oak leaf motif & bordered wallpaper over a chair rail, a TV and two wing back chairs with country scene brocade dd historic charm to this room, and large closet. A Berber carpet and butterscotch checkered window treatments over lace café curtains give way to a view of the Saltbox and Main Inn gardens. “Sleigh Bells – Room 11” is entered through an outside entrance just past the old porch on the front of the Inn.
