Room 17: “Rudolph”

Entering this room from the right side of the Saltbox, you’ll find reproduction blue & cream striped wallpaper with a darker blue accented paper below the chair rail, bringing out the blue of the carpet. A rich, regal looking colonial blue floral print spread with a coordinated striped dust ruffle and matching pillow shams decorate the 4-poster dark oak Queen bed that sits beneath a canopy of white cotton eyelet. Two striped wing back chairs with ottomans, a mahogany dresser, night stands with hurricane lamps and blue country curtains complete the country look and feel of this room. There is a small, old-fashioned bath in this room with a shower. The view is of the historic barn and gardens and the lawn of the main inn.
