Room 12 - "Star of the East"
Meander down the brick path to the 2nd door on the left, and you’ll come to "Star of the East". Blue and White historic print wallpaper and a Country Star quilt on the 4-Poster bed help you feel the history within these four walls! Two blue-plaid wingback chairs and matching plaid country curtains and old English prints compliment the dark walnut furniture within. The full sunny bathroom has a cheerful red country-checked shower curtain. While this room, like all the others at Christmas Farm Inn, is a Non-Smoking room, in the recent past it had been used for Smoking. The view is of the Main Inn’s country gardens and the White Mountains.
Room 11 - "Sleigh Bells"
This room is actually part of an addition to the Main Inn. Originally it was the oldest church in Jackson built in 1803. At some point in history it was jacked up on logs and rolled a short distance down the hill by oxen! This room has Amish Star quilts on each of the two Double beds and Hurricane lamps on the night stands. An oak leaf motif & bordered wallpaper over a chair rail, a TV and two wing back chairs with country scene brocade dd historic charm to this room, and large closet. A Berber carpet and butterscotch checkered window treatments over lace café curtains give way to a view of the Saltbox and Main Inn gardens. "Sleigh Bells ... Room 11" is entered through an outside entrance just past the old porch on the front of the Inn.
Room 9 - "Donner"
‘Way down yonder, (on the left side of the hallway just before the stairs to the unused 3rd floor of the Inn), you'll find "Donder", our very Blue color-coordinated room. This is a small room with country print curtains, a patchwork star-patterned quilt and oak furniture. The mottled, gray-textured wallpaper is very restful, though the bathroom is small. Audubon-style prints and a flat-screen TV adorn the walls. This room has a closet pole but not a separate closet. View the Chef’s Herb garden and Historic Barn from the windows.
Room 10 - "Dasher"
This room is the farthest one down on the left side of the hall. Enter through its very own long hallway into a very spacious room. The slate colored carpet, textured green and white wallpaper and Blue & White Toile bedspreads on the 2 Double Early American beds, have Blue and White ticking dust ruffles. Beautiful country curtains, mahogany furniture, nostalgic prints in elegant gold frames, wainscoting, hurricane lamps and gold-framed mirrors round out the country inn décor. A very nice full bath and closet completes the picture. Enjoy a view of the back hillside gardens and the Historic Barn from this room.
Room 8 - "Cupid"
Good things come in small packages, and "Cupid" is our coziest room in the Main Inn. Located to the far right at the top of the stairs, this little gem is a light and uplifting room with pink striped wallpaper, a blue rug and a floral spread. The queen bed has a solid wood harp-style headboard. Crisp eyelet curtains, country pine chairs and nightstands with hurricane lamps round out the décor. The bright and airy bathroom has a shower but no tub. View the Chef’s herb garden and the Historic barn through the windows.
